Common questions
There is no sound.
Check the volume slider inside the game, under Settings, and the
device's own volume. On iPhone and iPad the game plays even when the
Ring/Silent switch is set to silent, because listening is the whole
point of it.
How do I reset my child's progress?
Settings, then Reset progress. It sits behind a parent gate, a
short arithmetic question, so a young child cannot reach it alone.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, Spanish and French. The game picks
your device's language the first time it runs, and you can change it
any time from Settings. Hebrew and Arabic are laid out right to left.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Every level, sound and picture is inside the app, so the game
plays the same offline. On Android the occasional ad needs a
connection and is simply skipped without one; on iPhone and iPad there
are no ads at all.
My child cannot repeat the melody.
Tap Replay again. Each tap plays the melody more slowly, up to three
steps slower. Blind Ear mode, in Settings, turns the visual hints off
for children who are ready to listen without them.
Where is my progress saved?
On the device itself, and nowhere else. It is not sent anywhere, and
it is removed if the app is uninstalled.
Are there ads?
On iPhone and iPad, no. The Android version is free and shows an
occasional full screen ad, only a beat after your child leaves a level,
the endless board or the free play keyboard and comes back to the map,
never during play, never on the first three times the app is opened, and
only once enough levels have been finished. Ads are child directed and
contextual: no tracking, no personalised ads, no advertising identifier.
The privacy policy below describes exactly what an ad involves.
